Once again Bloom judges toured Burgess Hill looking at all the wonderful and different lighting effects that the residents and shop owners had conjured up, their job takes longer each year as the town grows.
St. John’s Church tree shone out like a beacon from the centre of town and the judges were very impressed with the Woolpack pub looking so resplendent in it’s Christmas dressing.
The annual Spring Bulb distribution was carried out between the 16th to 20th October to over 20 nursery schools, pre-schools and charitable organisations. Many messages of thanks have been received and it is hoped that the fruits of their labours will be proudly displayed on this website soon.
The daffodils and narcissus bulbs were again kindly donated by the Horticultural Society without whose support this would not have been possible.
