Burgess Hill in Bloom, founded in 2000, is a not-for-profit group who work in partnership with local organisations, businesses, residents and other volunteer groups to encourage community participation and environmental responsibility within the boundaries of Burgess Hill to make the town an attractive place to live, work and visit.

We endeavour to achieve this with fund raising, initiating and supporting other horticultural projects, sponsorship from shops, businesses and Burgess Hill Town Council and the distribution of bulbs and seeds to younger members of the town.

Each year we have spring and summer competitions which are open to every resident, school, shop and business organisation in the town.  Competition Entry Categories range from a simple window box to the whole garden and the skill level of entries have always been wide and varied.    There is also a highly respected garden safari, which in past years has proved very popular with all residents and visitors alike.
